Volunteer
participation on committees is the driving force behind all of our
programs and benefits. Through committee involvement, the staff
and volunteers set the pace and the agenda for accomplishments
throughout the year. We encourage you to consider sharing your
expertise by joining a committee. Committee meetings, as with all
Chamber programs, are open to all employees of member
businesses.
Networking/Leads Groups
New Business is the lifeblood of any company. To facilitate
your opportunities to expand your business, The Greater Valley
Chamber of Commerce is now offering five professional networking
groups to help your business grow. All five groups meet twice a
month: Seeds to Leads meets the 2nd & 4th Wednesday at 8:00
am; Alliance Leads Group meets the 1st & 3rd
Thursday at 8:00 am; Business Builders also meets the 1st
& 3rd Thursday at 8:00 am; Women In Networking (WIN)
meets the 2nd & 4th Tuesday at 9:00 am and the Valley
Business Network (VBN) meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday at 8:15
am. (Meeting times/days may change due to holidays, weather, etc.

The Ambassadors Club
The Ambassadors Club is the public relations and hospitality arm of the
Greater Valley Chamber.Ambassadors make contact with new Chamber
members to relay information, ascertain comments, identify
concerns and assist the new member to ensure they feel comfortable
at an event or in understanding how to maximize their membership

The Marketing Team
Primarily consisting of the advertising, design, public relations and
marketing members, The Marketing Team meets on a quarterly basis
to discuss the Chamber’s marketing and communications projects
and goals. Nancie (nancie@greatervalleychamber.com)
is the staff liaison for this team of professionals.
The Hotelier Group
This
group is comprised of the Valley area Hotel Managers and Sales
Directors. They meet at least twice annually and as needed to
discuss the issues and concerns facing their industry. Please

Government & Public
Affairs Committee
Ensures that local business needs are being addressed by all
levels of government by representing member concerns to local and
state officials, maintaining two registered lobbyists for state
issues, and cooperating with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce
